To power ipad with external battery or power bank, ipad dongle has usb c input for that. MAKE SURE the battery has a PD (power delivery) output. this is needed because when the ipad is connected to a dongle it requires extra power provided by a PD capable power bank or wall power source. (search PD power bank on amazon for options….)
In my prototypes I use lumabooth and configure the settings to record a video. the phone handset will be the microphone, and speaker for playback of audio in this situation. Other software may have to be configured differently
Mounting of the Phone
the phone can be mounted by using the corner mounts to a wall
Pipe screws into sockets to mount phone to base
The pipe supplied will set the ipad camera to about 52-54 inches from the floor when set in a typical table at an event
